Just curled up on the couch, digging through a few address labels and money-flow trails, and the more I looked, the more it felt… sometimes this stuff really is like astrology analysis. You see an address tagged with “institution” or “giant whale,” and you immediately assume the operator is as steady as can be—like they’ve been around forever—then you click in and find it’s all small-cap tokens being shuffled back and forth, as if it were nothing more than play. To put it plainly, labels can only show you a rough picture of the flow, but you can’t see what’s really behind it—whether it’s a human or something else, what strategy, what mindset—just by relying on a few words. Especially recently, once the unlock calendar came out, everywhere people have been talking about “selling pressure, selling pressure.” Some addresses looked like they’d just pulled in a big chunk of funds a couple of days ago, but if you trace along the chain, it might just be a distribution/collection address created by some protocol—turns out it was just a false alarm after all.
My roommate happened to pass by, glanced at my screen, and tossed out: “You’ve been wrestling with a few strings of characters all night—go wash your face instead.” Thinking about it, yeah, that makes sense. But my own OCD—if I don’t dig it all out clean, it feels like there’s a knot in my mind. Lately, the interaction records for several wallets have looked pretty weird; even my RPC occasionally throws me an error, which only makes me want to check the code one by one even more. As for address profiling—using it as a reference is fine, but if you really believe it, you’re likely to end up scaring yourself.
