$BTC Bitcoin has pulled back as expected, and the market is validating my view.

The short-selling thesis I’ve been emphasizing over the past few days is playing out; there are no signs the market is set to continue strengthening. As of now, the near-term positive impact from the inflation data has already been fully digested, risk appetite has declined, and Bitcoin and Ethereum have both fallen noticeably. The short setup around the 65,000 area that I highlighted these past few days has already created some limited room.

Next, the view remains unchanged: there is a fairly high chance that the market will continue to trade sideways and drift lower. Although the situation in the Middle East hasn’t brought a direct impact to the price action, the risk of oil-price spillover will soon show up in the market.

Short-term traders may consider handling a swing trade in the 63,000–62,000 range. Even if you have no position, you can patiently wait at higher levels—the market will provide repeated opportunities for the plan. #美军结束对伊朗新一轮打击

The short position I entered at 65,000 earlier is in profit by a small amount, but I don’t dare to hold it for too long—I’m afraid of a sudden pump. This market is too hard to trade.

Well said! The market always validates the views of a small number of people. Once the upside from inflation has played out, it’s normal for funds to seek safety; the next question is whether 62,000 can hold. If it can’t, the next target could be 60,000.

Doing swing trading with 63000 really can work, but I think we should wait a bit longer—it hasn’t reached the psychological level yet.

The Middle East situation’s impact on oil prices can indeed indirectly transmit to the crypto market, but in the short term it may still be driven mainly by sentiment. I agree with your point about the repeated choppy swings—more selling near highs and buying near lows, and timing matters a lot.
