According to Iran’s “one-sentence” statement on July 16, the Air Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps shot down a U.S. MQ-9 “Reaper” drone over Andimshk in the early morning. After the attack, local militia forces found the drone wreckage in the mountainous area near Sepodun village in Daloran County, and Iranian personnel later recovered it.
