Although we had already expected that tonight’s CPI would most likely meet market expectations—after all, the performance of daytime futures has already provided very clear signals.

But due to a sudden macro news shock, the daytime liquidity was too thin. Our long position we entered at 62,500 was ultimately stopped out with a small loss when price hit 62,450.

We originally planned to wait for a pullback into the 61,300–61,500 range, then re-enter the long position. Unfortunately, the market didn’t give us the chance.

That said, the overall approach has never changed. I’ve kept stressing that as long as the daily chart can effectively hold above 63,000, the upside potential is still worth expecting.

If we missed the trade, then we missed it—trading is never about trying to catch every move to the full, but about executing the trading plan and managing risk.

Missed Bitcoin? There’s still Hynix. Hynix, go for it—this wave, we can still take profits!
