With electric vehicles in China being so hard to sell, I don’t know why automakers don’t move to a subscription model. In reality, it could be like car rental: give access through an official app so the experience is the same as that of the car owner. The cost of operating in-house repairs would also be lower. If selling an “official car with warranty/insurance” were priced a bit higher, it would be more worry-free—I think most renters could also accept it.

What I currently know is that NIO and Zeekr have it, but this year Zeekr’s subscription was shut down for some reason.
A test drive just can’t really show anything; renting for a month is different.
