Avalanche has taken a huge bite out of Japan’s security token market—once the 452 billion JPY migration was completed, 2-second settlement is definitely appealing.

According to CoinPost, the digital asset issuance and management platform Progmat announced that it has completed the migration of all security token projects to Avalanche L1, with a total migrated project value exceeding 452.0 billion yen. After the migration, the relevant projects have fully shifted to an EVM-compatible environment; the processing speed for rights transfers has improved by 3 to 5 times compared with before, and the settlement confirmation time has been reduced to within 2 seconds. Progmat has publicly disclosed 45 security token projects, involving an amount exceeding 231.3 billion yen.
