Open-source 5B multi-agent world model MIRA: Mitigates long-term drift with DINOv3 representation, enables real-time simulation of 2v2 matches in "Rocket League"
CoinsJie News: AI research institution General Intuition has jointly launched the multiplayer interactive world model MIRA with the French AI lab Kyutai and Epic Games.

This model supports generative game simulations with real-time interaction among multiple players. It can simulate two-on-two battles in Rocket League in real time using only historical frames and player inputs, without the need for a physics engine, rendering engine, or explicit 3D representation.

MIRA has 5 billion parameters. Its core design is based on the frozen general-purpose visual encoder DINOv3-L. The generated latent states can land more stably within the effective representation space, significantly alleviating frame drift and divergence during long-term prediction.

MIRA can currently run in real time on a single NVIDIA B200 GPU at 20 frames per second. The team has open-sourced the training and inference code and released Rocket
