Saw someone talking about modularity and the DA layer; to be honest, I saved five posts about data availability and still haven't finished reading them...



Anyway, today I wanted to draw a diagram about mempool queuing. When it's congested and your transaction goes in, it's not as fair as first-in-first-out. If you set a low gas, it gets stuck there, might be front-run by arbitrage bots, might get dropped directly, or might execute half an hour later at a price you no longer want to transact at.

I'm used to setting slippage conservatively. I'd rather not execute than get sandwiched. In the long run, this kind of 'cautious' setting saves a lot more money than 'gambling'.

Talent is shouted, habits are calculated. That's all for now.
