When approving a contract, does anyone really read that unlimited amount option carefully? Anyway, the first time I just clicked through all the defaults, and later when I checked the on-chain records, I realized I looked like an idiot walking around with my wallet wide open.

Now revoking has become a bedtime ritual, right up there with brushing my teeth. It's not that I don't trust the project team—it's that I don't trust my own memory. I've long forgotten what I approved three months ago, and vulnerabilities won't wait until you remember.

Speaking of what I trust, I mostly look at data, but data lags. Intuition, though unreliable, at least lets you choose "run first" over "wait and see" when in doubt. As for all that social mining stuff, intuition was already sounding the alarm before the data came out—does that count?
