"After a Big Loss, What I Did"

After taking a heavy hit, I rushed to recover losses over the past few days and lost another 20k u by acting rashly, which completely shattered my mentality. I immediately switched to withdrawal mode, transferring the family's expenses for the second half of the year to my wife all at once, while improving my own cash flow. The purpose of this was to reduce my urgency to make money, as I clearly know that in this state, I will only lose more.

I left only 40k u in my account, added 2x leverage, and bought two low-market-cap altcoins respectively, vowing not to touch them until the end of the month. Originally, I had put 1,000 u in a copy-trading account, hoping to practice a new strategy, but it was gone in less than two days. This tuition fee was damn expensive, so I had to switch to paper trading.

Over the next month, I will focus on practicing the "chasing the uptrend" strategy. Currently, altcoin liquidity is too poor; only altcoins that attract market attention can absorb a certain amount of capital. Altcoin players are concentrated on a few altcoins for speculation, resulting in large price swings.

In the past, I mainly used the "ambush ahead of time" strategy to avoid sharp rises and falls in hot altcoins. I thought this would help me avoid risks, and during a bull market or a localized altcoin season, there might be opportunities to eat meat. But in a bear market, many narratives fail to attract market funds, and ambushing becomes being buried alive. It's not just about losses; the potential opportunity cost and time cost are even greater.

Over the past few years, my subjective trading has always been based on gut feelings. In the past six months or so, I've encountered many new ideas and knowledge. It's time to form my own trading strategy, follow my trading discipline, and truly become a trader.

I will try to recreate my glory with this 40,000 u. In the coming days, I will update my progress and insights in real time. July is for training, August is for the battlefield. Let's encourage each other!
