Golden Finance reported on July 2 that data from the Shanghai Stock Exchange shows that in June 2026, 2.8646 million new A-share accounts were opened, a month-on-month increase of 3.59% and a year-on-year increase of 73.99%. The total number of new accounts opened in 2026 reached 201.614 million, a year-on-year increase of 60.04%.
