Abstract generation in progress
According to Bijie News, BlackRock-backed Securitize becomes the first company to list on the New York Stock Exchange while tokenizing its common stock. The company has launched tokenized versions of its NYSE-listed common stock on the Solana and Avalanche blockchains, under the ticker SECZ. Eligible U.S. investors can access these tokenized shares through the company's compliant platform. Securitize stated that shareholder participation makes SECZ the largest tokenized stock globally. The company also said that putting its equity on-chain from the first day of listing demonstrates its compliant infrastructure built for tokenized securities. SECZ tokens represent the same common stock traded on the NYSE, not a separate share class. Securitize expects to establish an on-chain shareholder base on the first trading day and develop more functionality and market infrastructure as tokenized securities mature.

SECZ dual-chain deployment is interesting, combining Solana's performance with Avalanche's compliance. Institutions really know how to play.

On the first day, it goes on-chain, and the shareholder register is directly stored on-chain for evidence. It will be very convenient to look up equity disputes in the future. Traditional financial infrastructure is going to be gradually eroded.
