When dozens of group messages pop up at once, I’m actually pretty annoyed. The KOL keeps saying, “This time is different,” and the picture is always that upward-pointing arrow. Both sides are urging you to act—if you don’t, you’ll miss out; if you do, you’ll end up stuck at the top of the mountain.

To put it plainly, information overload is a trap by itself. The more you refresh and scroll, the more you feel like everyone in the world is making money—except you, who’s just watching. Then your hands stop listening to your brain.

Recently, some places tightened things up again. People in the group started saying, “Withdrawing funds will be harder.” Some are panicking and switching channels, while others think, “Anyway it’s all the same—I’m too lazy to move.” I’m in the latter camp. Maybe I’m a bit numb, but sometimes numbness is better than being in a state of panic.

My habit is: first, collapse the group chats, set a timer, and check them all together in the evening. For the KOL’s posts, I only skim the headline—if I click in, I’ve already lost. When I feel impulsive, I don’t open a position; I write two lines first. Once I’ve written them, that urge passes.

For tonight, let’s leave it at that. Throw your phone far away and go to sleep.
