If you’re now on the threshold of ages 30–40 and hesitating about whether to have children, I suggest you watch the Oscar-nominated film *Biutiful*. When I was young, I didn’t want to just follow the trend—I kept thinking about why I should have children. One day, after watching this film, I found the meaning of having children. The whole film is extremely suffocating, portraying the real-life struggle and helplessness of the protagonist (late-stage cancer, and business problems that end up costing someone’s life); it’s not a story about children.
