Micron's $250 million pledge to Trump Accounts is good optics timed well.

The company just posted blowout earnings off record DRAM prices, the same price spike that's driving a class action lawsuit accusing Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix of engineering the shortage. Consumers are paying 700% more for memory. Apple and Lenovo raised prices citing Micron's chips.
$250 million sounds large until you set it against a stock up over 200% this year on the back of that exact shortage. This is a rounding error wrapped as generosity, and it buys real goodwill with the administration while the price-fixing suit plays out.
