On July 1, Grayscale's research director Zach Pandl stated that Solana has evolved into a blockchain network supporting large-scale applications, currently hosting over 1,000 decentralized applications. Since 2026, it has been processing an average of over 100 million transactions daily, with an average of more than 1,200 transactions per second and approximately 4.3 million daily active users, contributing around $100 million in transaction fees to the network. Grayscale noted that the Solana ecosystem encompasses various fields, including decentralized finance (DeFi), social trading, and decentralized infrastructure (DePIN). Among these, the decentralized exchange (DEX) Raydium on Solana has recorded a cumulative trading volume exceeding $360 billion this year; the meme coin issuance platform Pump.fun has around 1.3 million monthly active users and an average daily revenue of approximately $690,000; and the DePIN project Geodnet focuses on providing centimeter-level positioning infrastructure for physical AI systems such as autonomous driving, robotics, and drones. Grayscale indicated that Solana continues to create on-chain activities through its rich application ecosystem, providing investors with exposure to the long-term growth of the network.
