According to Blockstories, CACEIS, the custody bank under Crédit Agricole (the French agricultural credit bank), is currently in exclusive negotiations to acquire Meria, a French crypto investment platform. Meria was formerly known as Just Mining and was co-founded by French crypto influencer Hasheur (Owen Simonin). It currently holds a MiCA-CASP license, has 150,000 users, and manages approximately €350 million in assets under management (AUM). Its main offerings include cryptocurrency brokerage services and staking wealth management products. CACEIS is an institutional financial services company under the Crédit Agricole Group (the French agricultural credit group) and is one of the largest asset custodians in Europe.
