You could say that I’m now a “heavy user” of Binance Square.
The other day, when I saw the label the system gave me, I suddenly felt a bit dazed, and a lot of memories came rushing back.
In 2022, Binance launched Square; in 2023, the platform began strongly supporting KOL onboarding, and I was one of them.
But to be honest, back then my main focus was still on Twitter. When Binance Square was just getting started, neither the traffic nor the content ecosystem had fully taken off, so I didn’t really treat it as a long-term position to seriously cultivate.
Later, in 2024 and 2025, I gradually saw Binance Square produce a lot of top-tier creators, and many friends around me also achieved very strong results here.
When I heard about their growth and what they gained, my feelings were actually very complicated.
There was envy, but also regret.
More honestly, it was regret.
Regret that I hadn’t kept consistently putting out content in such a highly focused content arena—so close to trading users—and with the backing of top-platform resources.
This sentence might sound a bit too direct, but it’s the truth: I’ve regretted it many times, because I really missed the earliest and most golden bonus period for Binance Square.
But anyone who’s traded knows that regret is just a normal part of it.
The market won’t stop because of your regret, and opportunities won’t completely disappear just because you miss out once. What really matters is whether, after seeing things clearly, you can adjust again and set off again.
So when I look back now, I still believe that Binance Square is the most worthwhile content platform to invest in seriously among all CEX ecosystems—and you could even say it’s the platform with the most certainty and room for growth.
The reason is simple:
You can never underestimate the power, resources, traffic, and influence of a top platform.
Especially in the crypto industry—where the platform is, users are there; where trading happens, attention is there; and where attention is, there’s an opportunity for content and influence to be redistributed.
And based on my speculation, Binance Square is probably still showing an early version for now. The content ecosystem, creator system, user interactions, and traffic distribution it demonstrates might still be at the 1.0 stage.
I have a strong hunch that later on, it will very likely bring more features, deeper product integrations, and even more room for upgrades.
More importantly, right now, in mainland China, third-party media and content platforms that truly serve the crypto community are banned.
But a mature trading ecosystem needs more than just a trading entry point—it also needs information, viewpoints, education, research, social interaction, community, content distribution, and trust connections between users.
Eventually, someone will take over these service segments.
If Binance Square intends to develop deeply in this direction, its imagination space won’t be limited to just being a “crypto content platform.”
What’s more, Binance’s product boundaries are continuously expanding too—for example, into precious metals and US stocks. Once the asset classes the platform serves expand, the user base will expand as well.
At that point, Binance Square won’t just face today’s group of crypto traders; it could be facing a much larger global community of traders.
So now, I actually feel the opposite: the less people have fully realized its long-term value, the more you should take it seriously to onboard, to produce, and to accumulate.
The significance of onboarding early isn’t just to grab traffic—it’s also to secure your position, win mindshare, and build trust.
There’s still a lot of imagination worth exploring here, but I don’t want to write an overly long article. If there’s a chance later, I can share more slowly.
In short, my judgment right now is very clear:
At this stage, Binance Square is as important as Twitter.
If you’re a content creator, trader, or researcher in the crypto industry—or someone who wants to build personal influence in this industry long term—Binance Square is absolutely worth taking seriously.
The earlier you onboard, the earlier you produce, the earlier you accumulate—the more likely you are to get ahead.
