Wu learned that Sei Labs has released the Giga Whitepaper V2, adding new privacy and fairness designs, reducing the finality target of Giga's Autobahn consensus protocol from 400 milliseconds to under 250 milliseconds, while maintaining a throughput of over 200k transactions / 5 Gigagas per second. The new whitepaper introduces the Sedna private transaction layer and a deterministic transaction ordering mechanism to provide pre-execution privacy, MEV resistance, and censorship resistance. Sei Labs stated that the Giga upgrade is progressing, and subsequent development includes a complete transaction fee mechanism, Autobahn consensus upgrade, and new tokenomics for the SEI token.

The name "Giga" sounds like it's going to make big moves. 200k TPS, let's wait and see. Don't let it become another PPT chain.

250ms finality is truly hardcore, but will Sedna’s privacy layer bring compliance trouble?

The name Autobahn is well-chosen; German highways are indeed fast, and I hope the code can keep up.

Reduced from 400ms to below 250ms, the optimization cost for this 150ms is estimated to be not low.

5 Gigagas per second is what kind of new unit? Sei has always been good at coining terms.

Privacy before execution sounds nice, but what nodes can and cannot see depends on the code implementation.

Privacy + anti-MEV + anti-censorship, a trio complete, regulatory friendliness is worrying.

Tokenomics changing? Will old users be panicked? Don’t do another dilution.
