Kazakhstan's central bank: In June, it sold foreign exchange worth 354 billion tenge to offset gold purchase operations.

Jinse Finance reports that on July 1, the Central Bank of Kazakhstan sold foreign exchange worth 354 billion tenge in June to hedge gold purchase operations, and expects to sell foreign exchange worth 1.1 trillion tenge in the third quarter. In June, it sold $200 million in foreign exchange from the National Fund on the domestic market and plans to sell up to another $300 million in July.
