With the MCP protocol now open, Keep, Canva, and Dropbox have been fully brought in—going forward, the AI workflows on macOS have to be completely rewritten.

Google integrates Gemini Spark as a local assistant on macOS desktop. With authorization, it can perform desktop tasks such as organizing downloaded PDFs, reading invoices, and generating budget sheets in Google Workspace. In the future, it will also be able to perform local searches on Mac, extract data, and send emails via phone commands remotely. Spark also opens the MCP protocol for easy integration with custom tools, including Keep, Tasks, Canva, Dropbox, and other apps. The macOS client is now available in beta for Google AI Ultra users in the United States.
