🔽 BlackRock reduced its bitcoin holdings by nearly 100,000 BTC in two months
BlackRock is the world's largest investment company and operator of the most popular bitcoin ETF (IBIT).
• Over the past two months, the company's balance decreased by nearly 100,000 BTC worth about $6,000,000,000
• BlackRock's wallets now hold 734,261 BTC (about $44,300,000,000)
The outflow from the largest bitcoin ETF is a signal that institutional investors are locking in profits or moving out of BTC into more conservative assets.
It is this outflow that has been putting pressure on the price in recent weeks, along with general market weakness.
