Pakistan expects the next round of US-Iran talks to be held after Khamenei's funeral.

Mars Finance News, July 2 – On July 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan issued a statement saying that, as mediators, Qatar and Pakistan held talks in Doha with the negotiating representatives of the United States and Iran respectively, and made positive progress on issues related to the implementation of the U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding.
The statement said that the parties conducted in-depth discussions on several specific issues involved in the U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding and achieved "positive progress" on related topics.
The statement pointed out that the parties have agreed to continue negotiations in the coming period and to determine the time for the next round of talks as soon as possible.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry also stated that the next round of talks is expected to be held as soon as possible after the funeral ceremony of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Khamenei. (CCTV)
