Following the tragic June 22 mass shooting at San Jose National High School, Leyte First District Rep. Martin Romualdez has proposed a series of measures to strengthen school safety and child protection. These include stricter gun control, mental health screening, and improved security infrastructure. The proposals were presented during a consultative meeting with national government agencies, local officials, and mental health experts.
