A 5.5-magnitude earthquake in Gaoxian, Yibin, caused 15 people to sustain minor injuries.

At 0:12 on June 29, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Shahe Town, Gao County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province (28.50°N, 104.69°E), with a focal depth of 6 kilometers. A reporter learned from the Yibin City Earthquake Relief Headquarters that after multiple rounds of inspections, as of 14:00 on June 29, the earthquake caused 15 minor injuries. Except for one person still receiving hospital treatment, the remaining 14 have been discharged after outpatient treatment. The earthquake resulted in general damage to 933 households (1,819 rooms) and severe damage to 18 households (40 rooms). (CCTV News)
