"Optoelectronics Pioneer Institute" completed a new round of financing.

According to Mars Finance, the “Optoelectronics Pilot Research Institute” has officially completed a new round of financing. In this round, “Xi’an Comprehensive Reform Fund,” “CDB Sci-Tech Innovation,” and “Zhongke Chuangxing” are being introduced, along with additional capital injection by industrial capital. The funds from this round are mainly used for silicon photonics process R&D, with a smaller portion used for optical communications VCSEL process R&D and heterogeneous integration pre-research, in order to drive the company’s upgrade from a “pilot platform” to a “full-chain industry-enabling platform.”
