Pakistan expects the next round of US-Iran talks to be held after Khamenei's funeral.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on July 2, which stated that the parties had in-depth discussions on several specific issues related to the US-Iran memorandum of understanding and made "positive progress" on relevant topics. The statement pointed out that the parties have agreed to continue negotiations in the coming period and to determine the time for the next round of talks as soon as possible. The Foreign Ministry also stated that the next round of talks is expected to be held as soon as possible after the funeral of Iran's former Supreme Leader Khamenei. (CCTV News)
