On June 30, 2026, Hang Seng Indexes Company and Cyberport announced the launch of a thematic index exploration program. In collaboration with Techtronic Industries Company, they will develop artificial intelligence solutions to accelerate the thematic index design process. This program is the second-phase project of the Index Innovation Lab. The lab was established in 2024 by Hang Seng Indexes Company and Cyberport. Its goal is to explore using cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence to support the index operations of Hang Seng Indexes Company, and to provide index solutions that are more closely aligned with market needs.
