2025 Annual Audit Work Report Released: Central Fiscal Deficit Matches Budget

The National Audit Office reported to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the audit of the implementation of the 2025 central budget and other fiscal revenues and expenditures. The report shows that the 2025 central fiscal deficit was in line with the budget. Regarding the implementation of the "two major" and "two new" policies and the management and use of funds, the report revealed issues such as the misappropriation of some ultra-long-term treasury bond funds and inadequate implementation of "soft construction" tasks like supporting policies for the "two major" projects.
