TRON Nile Testnet Launches Anti-Quantum Upgrade, Releases V4.8.2-PQ1-build1 Upgrade Version

Mars Finance news, the TRON Nile testnet recently launched a quantum-resistant upgrade and released a mandatory upgrade version GreatVoyage-v4.8.2-PQ1-build1. This version introduces post-quantum signature capabilities for the first time, supporting two signature algorithms: Falcon-512 and ML-DSA-44, further advancing TRON's technical exploration and capability verification in the direction of quantum-resistant security. According to official sources, the above capabilities can be applied to scenarios such as transaction signatures, SR block production signatures, P2P relay node handshakes, and TVM contract signature verification. TRON reminds developers who have deployed Nile testnet nodes to complete the version upgrade as soon as possible. At the same time, the new features still need to be voted on and approved through a proposal before they can take effect on the Nile testnet; activation of testnet features does not imply that they will be synchronized to the mainnet.
