Goodme RTD (Ready-to-Drink) beverages are about to enter retail channels, with the selected launch cities being Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Wenling, and Hangzhou. This project is classified as S-level at Goodme. In December of last year, Goodme officially launched its RTD beverages, but sales were limited to Goodme stores. Currently, four products have been introduced: Apple Juice, Kale Fruit & Vegetable Juice, Thai Orange Juice, and Seven-Fruit & Vegetable Juice, all using HPP technology. HPP stands for High-Pressure Processing, which is the highest-grade non-thermal preservation technique in the juice processing industry, with a taste close to freshly squeezed juice. However, HPP equipment itself has a high entry threshold, and due to the process requirements, the entire supply chain must be kept refrigerated at constant temperatures. Most domestic HPP juice brands use third-party contract manufacturing. According to sources close to the channel, the products Goodme is bringing into retail channels are HPP Apple Juice (260g) and HPP Seven-Fruit & Vegetable Juice (260g), with wholesale prices of 108 yuan per case (4.5 yuan per bottle) and 132 yuan per case (5.5 yuan per bottle), respectively. The final retail prices for consumers are 9.9 yuan per bottle and 11.9 yuan per bottle, respectively. Compared to the in-store prices, both products are 2 yuan higher. Additionally, 36Kr has learned that Goodme plans to enter channels such as Laoban Daren, Yonghui, and Shizu Convenience Stores, covering snack retailers, convenience stores, and supermarkets. Like Goodme, Laoban Daren and Shizu Convenience Stores are brands that started in Zhejiang and have deep roots in the province. (36Kr)
