Israeli officials deny that Israeli forces have withdrawn from parts of Lebanon.

On the 25th local time, Israeli sources reported that Israeli security and military officials said that the Israeli military has not yet received instructions from the government to withdraw from Lebanon. The report also said that in a new round of direct Israel-Lebanon talks held in the United States, Israel and Lebanon indeed discussed the possibility of the Israeli military withdrawing from areas in southern Lebanon, but no agreement had been reached. The report added that earlier that day, a U.S. State Department official said that Israel has withdrawn from some parts of southern Lebanon. (CCTV News)
