Abstract generation in progress
During the week of June 22 to June 26, in the domestic cotton yarn market, trading continued the off-season pattern, with downstream weaving mills mainly purchasing on a need-to basis and showing weak willingness to stock up, making it difficult to increase transaction volumes. Traders generally offered discounts to move goods, and low-priced goods continued to increase, causing the price center of domestic cotton yarn to edge down slightly. For imported cotton yarn, market trading was generally flat with stable quotes. Recent arrivals were mainly of medium and low counts, with complete specifications available in stock. Port inventories declined slightly but remained at a high level for the same period. Traders had weak willingness to support prices, and actual transactions generally had room for concessions, with downstream only maintaining essential procurement. Specific data: the average weekly price of domestic 32-count pure cotton combed yarn was 23,342 yuan/ton, down 16 yuan/ton from the previous week; the average weekly spot price of Indian 32-count pure cotton combed yarn was 23,300 yuan/ton, unchanged from last week; the average weekly spot price of Vietnamese 32-count pure cotton combed yarn was 23,020 yuan/ton, unchanged from last week.
