CoinWorld news, according to Cointelegraph, Manny Rutinel, the Democratic candidate for Colorado's 8th Congressional District, won the primary with 61.7% of the vote and will enter the general election in November. The You Can Push Back Super PAC, funded with $3.5 million from Ripple Labs co-founder Chris Larsen, spent $1 million on supporting Rutinel's campaign before the primary. Rutinel received a "strongly pro-crypto" rating from Stand With Crypto, an organization affiliated with Coinbase. A report from Public Citizen states that the crypto industry has already invested approximately $189 million in the 2026 U.S. election.
