Driven by cost increases and market demand, the semiconductor industry starts its second round of price increases within the year.

Starting in July, the global semiconductor industry is ushering in a new round of price adjustments. It is understood that recently, multiple semiconductor companies including Silan Integrated Circuit, Starpower Semiconductor, Yangjie Technology, and Juchuan Co., Ltd. have sent price hike notices to their customers, with price increases ranging from 15% to 25%. According to incomplete statistics, over 20 domestic and international semiconductor companies issued their first round of price hike notices in the first half of the year. Currently, the relevant companies have all announced a new round of price increase notices. Looking closely at the price hike notices from each company, rising costs and the explosion in AI demand are the core drivers behind the price adjustments. (Shanghai Securities News)
