Meta suddenly announced today that it is selling off excess computing power. It seems that the job of having programmers label data is no longer sustainable.

As expected, Meta is the first of the Magnificent 7 to surrender in the computing power race.
But I don’t think this event has much reference value.
This is entirely the result of Meta’s own self-destructive actions—it has neither a model nor users, thinking it has deep pockets, thinking it’s invincible, thinking it can buy talent with money.
Running around frantically, jumping from one idea to another, it’s nothing but an AI troublemaker.
It does not represent the opinions of other players.
