The United Nations plans to take the lead in formulating global AI rules.

Jinse Finance reports that on July 1, according to Axios, a new committee supported by the United Nations will bring together executives from major technology companies with heads of state from around the world to jointly develop global rules on artificial intelligence. It is reported that the United Nations and its International Telecommunication Union are setting up the “Global Commission on AI for Public Good.” The commission’s first meeting will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 8.
