Separately, this morning, police received a report that an unpleasant smell was coming from a unit on the 3rd floor of Butterfly Dance House in Butterfly Estate. Firefighters arrived, forced the door open, and found a man in his 40s lying outside the bathroom. He was confirmed dead on the spot. Reports say the man lived alone. Police found bloodstains on the unit’s ground floor, and there were also signs of a struggle and looting at the scene. The case has so far been classified as a corpse discovery incident and is being handled accordingly.
