Wong Kam-fai's statement is as follows:

I sincerely apologize for a traffic incident I was involved in on the campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong a few days ago, which has sparked public discussion and caused inconvenience to the Legislative Council, the Chinese University administration, and all sectors.

The incident has now been handed over to the police and relevant government departments for follow-up and handling in accordance with normal procedures. I will fully cooperate with the investigation.

Thank you all for your concern.

In response to our inquiry, Wong Kam-fai said that the matter has been handed over to lawyers and the police are following up, so it is not convenient to respond at this time.
