#GateStocksTransferLive Gate has launched a new service that simplifies the transfer of stock positions between platforms for users. Now, both inward and outward transfers are possible for stocks traded on the US and Hong Kong exchanges, without any transfer fees.

This service operates via a No-Payment Transfer method. Transactions for US stocks are handled through the Depository Trust Company system, while transactions for Hong Kong stocks are handled through the Central Clearing and Settlement System. The process typically takes between three and fifteen business days, with the exact time varying depending on the transaction speed and market settlement procedures of both brokerage firms.
Using the service is quite simple. In the Gate app, go to the "More" section, then "Common Features," and select the "Stock In" or "Stock Out" option. After selecting the US or Hong Kong market, create a request by entering the necessary brokerage information, stock symbol, and quantity. Those wishing to move stocks to Gate must first contact their existing brokerage firm to initiate the outgoing process. Those wishing to outgo from Gate must enter the information of the receiving brokerage firm completely. There's also a transfer history section where users can track the status of requests in real-time, showing whether they're pending, completed, or canceled. This feature is currently being rolled out gradually.
To make this transition even more attractive, Gate has also launched a limited-time Equity Entry Rewards campaign running from July 1st to July 7th. Users who register during this period, create a successful transfer request worth at least 3,000 USDT, and provide a valid transfer fee receipt from their previous brokerage firm can apply for a refund. Participants also receive an instant VIP level upgrade. Refunds can reach up to 15,000 USDT for US stocks and 6,000 USDT for Hong Kong stocks, with VIP upgrades extending up to VIP level 9. The refund amount is determined based on the actual transfer fee and relevant tier criteria.
This step represents a significant milestone in Gate's expansion of its global equity infrastructure. The platform previously offered access to over ten thousand US stocks and exchange-traded funds via USDT, including the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and other major liquidity networks. In addition, over fifteen hundred Hong Kong stocks and around one thousand Korean stocks are supported, providing access to over twelve thousand five hundred global stocks and funds in total.
Gate Equities also offers 24/7 trading for US, Hong Kong, and Korean markets, encompassing not only normal session, pre-session, and post-session hours but also overnight and weekend trading. Fractional share trading is also available, with a minimum investment of just 0.01 shares, making global equity investing more accessible.
Thanks to Gate's unified account system, the platform combines digital assets and traditional stocks in a single investment account, allowing users to manage both crypto and traditional financial assets without switching between different platforms. Gate Stocks is also fully integrated with a VIP program; users with stock positions worth at least $2,000 qualify for VIP status, which provides benefits such as transaction fees as low as 0.023% and dedicated one-on-one account management services.
In short, with this new service, Gate is one step closer to its goal of bringing the entire stock investment process together on a single platform, offering a broad ecosystem ranging from global market access and unified account infrastructure to now zero-fee inter-broker transfers. Those wishing to transfer their portfolio only need to update the application to version v8.26.0 and initiate the process from the More menu.
