Golden Finance reported that on July 2, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister and head of the Iranian technical negotiation delegation, Garibabadi, stated that in a trilateral meeting held that day in Doha among Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan, the Iranian delegation raised and reviewed the United States’ violation of Article 1 of the Iran–U.S. memorandum of understanding regarding commitments to end the fighting in Lebanon, and discussed reports concerning the United States strengthening regional military equipment and troop deployments, as well as certain threatening and interventionist remarks made by U.S. officials. The Iranian delegation emphasized in the meeting that the commitments in the Iran–U.S. memorandum of understanding are an integrated whole and cannot be viewed separately. Garibabadi announced that a supervisory group would be formed to report and review violations related to the Iran–U.S. memorandum of understanding through direct communication channels. (CCTV News)
