Circle CEO Says Open USD Must Prove Flow to Challenge USDC

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said Open USD's more than 140 backers matter only if the token turns distribution into live, regulated transaction flow. Open Standard said OUSD would use partner governance and share reserve earnings after a management fee. Allaire cited USDC's integrations, liquidity, licensing footprint, CCTP, and Gateway as part of its moat.
