🔐 Web3 Security Guide. Protecting Your Money Matters Than Making More Money

One thing you learn quickly with crypto is that making money is tough but keeping your money safe can be even tougher.

When it comes to Web3 security is not something you can ignore.

A good trade does not mean much if you make one move and lose all your money.

That is why I think every trader, new ones should make security a part of their plan not something they think about later. We spend a lot of time looking at charts and trying to figure out what to do. A lot of people still do not do the simple things that keep their money safe.

That is a problem.

Most people do not lose money in Web3 because they make guesses about the market.

They lose money because they make mistakes that they could have avoided.

Fake giveaways, links, bad wallet approvals, fake help accounts and rushing into things still get a lot of traders into trouble every day. Bad people do not need to be smarter than you they just need you to make one mistake.

That is the truth.

My rule is simple: be careful when you are moving money around.

Before I agree to anything I check everything carefully.

Is this link real?

What am I allowing them to do?

Am I giving them access to all my tokens?

Taking a few seconds can save you a lot of money.

I also think it is an idea to keep your money in separate wallets.

I do not treat all my money the way.

I use one wallet for trading another one for trying out things and a safe place for my long-term money.

That way if something goes wrong it will not be as bad.

My point is this: when the market is going up people focus on making money.

Smart traders also think about how to protect themselves.

Because doing well in crypto is not about making money when the market goes up. It is also about avoiding mistakes that can cost you money.

The traders who do well for a time are not just the smartest ones.

They are also the careful.

What is your number one rule, for keeping your money safe in Web3 that every trader should follow?
