A man was seriously injured and fell into a coma after being attacked with scissors in a unit on the 10th floor of Cheung Fai Building, No. 22 Tong Mi Road, Mong Kok, in the afternoon. He was taken to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment, but ultimately died. Police have arrested two suspects. Reports say the attacker was the victim’s friend, and no knife wounds or scissor wounds were found on the victim. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.

Separately, this morning, police received a report that a unit at the 3rd floor of Butterfly House in Butterfly Estate emitted a foul odor. Firefighters arrived at the scene, broke down the door, and found a man in his 40s lying unconscious outside the bathroom. He was confirmed dead on the spot. Sources indicate that the man lived alone. Police officers found bloodstains in the unit’s underground floor, and there were also signs of a struggle and ransacking at the scene. The case is currently classified as a body found incident.
