Wong Kam-fai’s statement is as follows:

Regarding a traffic incident in which I was involved on the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in the past few days, which has sparked public discussion and caused inconvenience to the Legislative Council, The Chinese University, and all sectors, I sincerely apologize.

At present, the incident has been handed over to the police and relevant government departments for follow-up and handling in accordance with normal procedures, and I will fully cooperate with the investigation.

Thank you for your concern.
