SK Hynix Plans to Order Semiconductor Testing Equipment Worth Up to 400 Billion KRW

On June 30, according to TheElec, SK Hynix is in discussions with semiconductor equipment manufacturers regarding the supply of semiconductor testing equipment needed for the Cheongju P&T7 plant. Various equipment companies are verbally coordinating the number of devices that can be delivered next year. The equipment industry expects that the plant will order approximately 200 units, including HBM4 testers. Based on a price of 1.5 to 2 billion KRW per unit, the total cost could reach up to 400 billion KRW.
