Abstract generation in progress
According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs at 500 county-level markets and collection points, last week (the 4th week of June, June 22 to 28, same below), the national live hog price was 10.06 yuan/kg, flat month-on-month; the pork market price at fairs was 19.63 yuan/kg, down 0.5% month-on-month. According to monitoring and scheduling by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs at 200 wholesale markets, last week's national average pork wholesale market price was 14.33 yuan/kg, down 1.2% month-on-month and 28.8% lower year-on-year. Expert analysis suggests that last week, large-scale pig farms and smallholders maintained normal slaughter, the market operated steadily, and live hog prices remained largely stable. As temperatures continued to rise, pork consumption overall was weak, leading to a slight decline in prices. Looking ahead, it is expected that hog and pork prices will mainly fluctuate and adjust this week. (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs)
