A timely intervention by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has saved one of the last Megalithic Cairns in Hyderabad. The 45-feet tin gazebo, erected under the direction of a former Nizam’s Archaeology department director, covers a 'Cist burial site' that was at risk of demolition during a drive in the Hasmatpet area. This preservation effort highlights the importance of heritage conservation in urban development.
