CoinWorld News: Line Next announced the launch of Unifi Pay, aiming to support zero-fee stablecoin payments. The service will go live globally in the third quarter and will support payments in USDT, JPY, and IDR through its Unifi stablecoin wallet. According to Coinpost, Line Next announced on June 30 that Unifi Pay will be officially launched after a testing phase that processed 100 billion won in payments and settlements. The company has 300 million users from Line Yahoo and has started accepting pre-registrations from global developers. Unifi Pay also plans to add more local stablecoins based on regulatory requirements in each market. The service’s average settlement speed is about one second and it allows settlement funds to be sent directly to bank accounts through connected crypto exchanges and blockchain remittance solutions.

The test size of 100 billion Korean won is no small amount. Line Next seems to be serious this time, and developer pre-registration is now open.
