Mars Finance News, according to CoinDesk, World, a mysterious project in the Solana ecosystem, has officially launched as a full-chain prediction market, accessible for trading directly via Phantom wallet and the official website world.xyz. World allows users to trade contracts linked to events such as cryptocurrency prices and the 2026 World Cup using their Solana wallets, with plans to expand into sports, geopolitics, and macroeconomic markets. The platform is non-custodial, with user funds moving only when participating in a market; positions, settlements, and payouts are all executed on-chain. It uses the CASH stablecoin launched by Phantom as the settlement asset, with Chainlink providing data and settlement oracle infrastructure to reduce reliance on manual arbitration. World also plans to collaborate with more traditional finance and crypto front-end platforms for distribution in July.
